Om Shanti. Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya is a
spiritual organization with its international headquarters in Mt. Abu.
The institution was founded in the year 1936 by the Supreme Soul, the
Supreme father, God Shiva Himself through the corporeal medium of Prajapita
Brahma. And today there are around 6,000 centres of this institution
spread about in 85 countries. About 6 lakhs people, belonging to various
religions and different societies of these 85 countries, visit their
nearest Brahma Kumaris centres to listen to the spiritual knowledge
and to practice Rajyoga meditation everyday. In this way, they experience
divinity, peace, happiness and bliss in their own lives and also serve
their family, their society, their country and the world as a whole
with all their mind, body and wealth. The aim of this institution is
to transform the world by transforming the self, to make a deity from
an ordinary human being i.e. a true 'Narayana' from an ordinary man
and a true 'Laxmi' from an ordinary woman. The final aim is to transform
this world from the prevailing hell to heaven, i.e., to transform it
from 'Kalyuga' to 'Satyuga' - from the abode of sorrow to an abode of
bliss. It is for this reason that the Supreme Soul, the Almighty Father
Shiva Himself is giving us the true knowledge of Gita and Rajyoga through
the corporeal medium of Prajapita Brahma, Brahma Kumars and Brahma
Kumaris.
A sister concern of Brahma Kumaris named Rajyoga Education and Research
Foundation has 17 professional wings through which services are rendered
and various programmes are organized to serve all sections of the society.
Some of these wings are Youth wing, Scientists' and Engineers' wing,
Medical wing, Jurist wing, Women wing, Art and culture wing etc. The
Brahma Kumaris organization holds an A-grade NGO membership with the
United Nations and consultative status with ECOSOC, DPI and UNICEF.
